By the power at work within us God is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine. - Ephesians 3:20
-pumpkinsTime runs swiftly, getting away from me. I wish to do much through this day. I wish to complete my "Mom" chores, be more productive while the boys are in school, so I may spend more time reading with them, laughing with them, have more time at the dinner table. But alas, homework calls, phone rings, table to clear, darkness beckens. As I sit in silence this morning, I look up at the sky and know that He has time...to hear, to comfort, answer, send Grace & Mercy...it is now, I realize, I have no time to worry, fret. He will take care of these things so my time can be spent on things He asks me to do.
Lord, help me today...manage my time, so that I may help others, that I may read, laugh with Cody and Jesse Ray, and not rush this time away. In your name- Amen...
These things doth bring me joy...

-23rd Psalm
-knowing, believing "This too shall pass"
O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.
You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. -Psalm 139 1-18

Wanted you to know that your website is becoming my meditation each day. I read it each evening when I am exhausted after another long day (things seem so dark right now). It truly lifts me up. I love to read the WORD. So many times you have spoken to me and quoted just the right scripture for what I am feeling. It is good to be assured that God knows us so well. He loves us in spite of ourselves. And, sometimes when we feel he is not listening or even doubt him, he WILL NOT let us go. For, wherever we go, he is there. Thank you, thank you.
In Christ,
Sara
